If you’re thinking about taking a trip to Ireland, even if you head over to the West Coast to see the Cliffs of Moher, a full day in Dublin should definitely be on your to-do list. Filled with so much culture, art, and entertainment, I can promise you will never have a dull moment (unless you want one!) Dublin is honestly one of those places where you can spend a weekend or the entire summer if you wanted to, and you’d have an endless amount of unforgettable experiences, but I am going to tell you my top 7.

Tour Guinness Brewery Storehouse
Hands down if you’re in Dublin, you cannot miss out on the brewery tour of Ireland’s most iconic beer, Guinness. With the storehouse being 7 stories high, there is so much to see! The tour is about 90 minutes long and you don’t just learn about its history, you get to try the beer too! From experimenting with some of the new blends and finishing with your favorite pint of Guinness at The Gravity Bar with 360 views of the city.
Stand Under My Umbrellas
Dublin’s most instagrammable place happens to be right off of South Anne Street at Zozimus Bar! It’s a great little spot where you can grab a drink or a bite to eat, but I think the best time to go is during the day when the streets aren’t super busy, so you can get your perfect shot for the ‘gram.
Chill Out At St. Stephen’s Green
If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, you’ll want to take a stroll through Stephens Green, a 22-acre park filled with beautiful flower beds, duck pond, and even the occasional host of impromptu concerts in the park..
Stroll Through The Temple Bar District
The Temple Bar District is the host of Dublin’s hottest night life. Now if you’re a tourist in Dublin, I can guarantee you’ll find yourself looking for a good time at the bright red pub always filled with people, a crazy atmosphere, and a crazy good time. (The Temple Bar). But, if you’re not looking to go to the tourist trap, you can head in the opposite direction of Temple Bar and hang out as the locals do in a smaller pub with some good eats.
Love Lane Street at Crampton Court
By far one of my favorite things to see while in Dublin was the Love the Lane project around the Temple Bar. You won’t find a dull alleyway around here, as the street artists were given the go-ahead to turn these alleys into beautiful pieces of art. And they change up often, so who knows if you’ll end up seeing the same thing twice!
Trinity College
Did you know that Trinity College is Ireland’s oldest surviving university? And was featured in the HBO series Normal people? Besides that, The Trinity College campus is absolutely beautiful and is right in the city center of Dublin. It’s library has over 20,000 books in The Great Hall and is also the host of one of Ireland’s finest national treasures, the Book of Kells.
Explore Silicon Docks
Did you know Dublin is considered the Silicon Valley of Europe? That’s right! The tech industry is exploding in Dublin right now and you can find all of Silicon Valley’s finest right here in the city, like Microsoft, Facebook, and Google, all around Grand Canal Dock. This area also has a few of its own instagrammable locations as well!
