I have curated a list of some of my favorite tools and apps that I use to keep my online business up and running as a virtual career girl.

These tools are highly recommended to help you START and SCALE your very own online business!

Adobe Photoshop – to create graphics

Way back when I first learned how to design websites in high school, I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop and I have been hooked ever since! This tool has saved me so much time and effort over the years.

This is my go-to software for creating graphics for social media, logos, blogs, and even websites.

I’m going to let you in on  a little secret – I created all of the mockup designs you see on this page right in Photoshop. This is also the place where I get my Instagram board in order too. The entire Adobe Creative Suite is amazing, but this app will always be my favorite.

TeamWork – Project Management

As a virtual career girl, you’ve got to wear many hats. Maybe you’re working in creative design one day, managing a social media account the next, or working on a blog post. It’s impossible to stay on top of all of your tasks without a super awesome project management system.

It’s impossible to stay on top of your to-do list without a super awesome project management system.

There are lots of different programs to choose from but this by far is my absolute favorite. I’m able to keep up with the team project boards, but it also integrates with Slack, Google Drive, and so much more!

Canva – to create graphics

If you’re thinking about becoming a remote worker or virtual entrepreneur, graphic design doesn’t have to be your strong suite. Canva makes it super easy for the busy career girl to be able to put graphics together in wicked-fast timing.

This is a super-user friendly online software that has so many templates for anything you might need.

Need to create a fancy looking report? No problem! Want to create an email header or blog post graphic? You can do all of that right here in Canva. Sometimes I even have customers request all of their graphics be made here so it can be duplicated, so this is definitely a crowd favorite!

Active Campaign – Email Marketing

Setting up an email campaign doesn’t have to be super complicated. You just need to use the right email marketing platform. Want to map out your sales sequence? No problem!

This well-designed software is perfect for helping you build your list and keeping up with your subscribers.

Not only will this software allow you to send out those monthly newsletters, but you can also create your website popups and connect your lists right to the forms on your website. Yes please!

Divi Builder – WordPress builder

This is the best kept (not so secret) tool we use in my graphic design business Twinning Pros. This amazing tool is wicked-fast with responsive editing and real-time design.

If you want a builder that allows you to customize (literally) everything, then this is what you need!

It’s no secret that designing websites in WordPress is my JAM. I am able to make websites for my clients that are easy for them to update themselves (I don’t have to use a bunch of code) and the capabilities are endless. While I have used some other amazing WordPress builders like Elementor and Beaver Builder and have even built sites on Sqaurespace, I’ve found that I keep going the Divi Visual Builder more.

I'm Tiffany, your #newbizestie

I was a single mom who came from your typical 60-80 hour/week world. I worked in customer service, as an executive assistant to CEO’s, to managing client relationships and handling a ton of marketing projects. I’ve had a freelance side-hustle for as long as I can remember, but I never thought I could do it full-time. I hit the imaginary ceiling in my career in 2017 and knew that I wanted more.
